I was too young to see a game there but graduated on the Astroturf field of what is Nickerson Field, home field for Boston University. Part of the old stadium was preserved as an entrance to Nickerson. It was rather odd knowing that where I was sitting was about where second base had been located, and legends like Wagner, Ruth, Hornsby, Frisch, Musial and Robinson had passed this way.
