I was 6 in 2000 when i went to Vetrans Stadium and i can't remember what happened cuz i was only 6.....When i went to Veterans Stadium in 2003 i was blown away by the size of it.....i was only 9 but that place was huge......i remember the smell of hotdogs...popcorn and the sound of the bats clocking balls during batting practice....and the astroturf...and the Phillie Phanatic....It was a game against the San Diego Padres and it was the last year at "The Vet". Though the Phillies lost due to a homerun in the top of the 9th to blow their lead ill never forget how many "BOO"'s there were in that stadium. It's True Philadelphia is a tough city, when you dont win you get "booed" and Jose Mesa got Booed......I havent been to the new Citizens Bank Park yet but plan to go.....Vetrans Stadium was my firts ball park and i'll never forget it.
