Caught a 51's game there the last time I was in town. Solid ballpark for a minor-league place, but hardly anything spectacular. Loved the fact that I stumbled upon "dollar beer night" when I went. Gotta love the minos!

Mr. Clem, I've never been to Cashman Field but I did discover in my MLB 2K8 video game that the blue area you thought was a pool or tarp is actually a picnic area, so please be sure to note that.

I love Cashman. I lived in Las Vegas for 2 years and going to Saturday night 51's games was my only tether to "normalcy" in an otherwise dreary existence in Las Vegas. We started going one year after their affiliation with the Mets started. The 51's have the best community relations as far as giveaways and really getting on the level with their fans. The stadium is pretty ho-hum. Nothing to rave about as far as design, but the neighborhood is not too seedy (You should see some of the other parts of Vegas!!), the fans are great, the food is far above average, and parking is plentiful. Overall, Cashman and the 51's is one of the VERY few things I miss about living in Las Vegas.
