Explanation

The table above provides a chronological depiction of each team's stadiums, showing the year when they first played in them except where space is lacking. Each of the names used for the respective stadiums is listed in proper chronological sequence, space permitting, and the original names are links to the respective stadium pages, triggering thumbnail-sized images of the stadium diagram when you roll the mouse over the name. Names used only briefly are not shown here; asterisks (*) denote omitted names. Years in [brackets] indicate when major renovations were made, and in some cases those are hyperlinks that trigger distinct thumbnail versions of the stadium diagrams. Each franchise's history is represented on a single line, with relocations to new cities indicated by a vertical red dotted line.
